Hello Mustangs! My name is Sam Bennett, aka, Coach Bennett, but the kids call me Coach Sam. I started at Montgomery in 2017 and have absolutely loved my time here. A little background about myself, in 2010 I graduated first from the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) with a degree in Visual Communications (Photography and Graphic Design specifically). I actually own a photography business on the side, Cutting Edge Images, Inc., in which I specialize in Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, family portraits and event photography. In 2015, I left my desk job as an insurance agent with Allstate to pursue a master's degree in Health and Physical Education. Finally, in 2018 I graduated from Georgia State University with a Masters in Arts and Teaching degree. I've always enjoyed working with and coaching kids, and in my spare time, I coach basketball and baseball with my brother and father. I knew I loved coaching, but teaching has given me so much added joy because I truly believe I am affecting lives through physical education. Choosing this new career path was scary at first, but it was the best decision I ever made. I absolutely love what I do and am truly honored to be an integral part of the Mustang family in helping to shape the our students' physical and mental health!
